About Cincinnati Bengals Tickets

Originally playing for the now-obsolete American Football League, the Cincinnati Bengals joined the AFL as an expansion team in 1968. After the AFL and NFL merger, the Bengals joined the NFL in 1970 and immediately won the AFC Central Division thanks to the amazing defense of cornerback stars Ken Riley and Lemar Parrish. Other notable Bengals in the team’s early years included quarterback Ken Anderson, tight end Bob Trumpy, running back Boobie Clark and wide receiver Isaac Curtis.

In the 1980s, the Cincinnati Bengals appeared in the Super Bowl twice, but lost to the San Francisco 49ers both times. At the start of the 1990s, the Bengals experienced intense drought as the team made 14 consecutive non-winning seasons. The Cincinnati Bengals retained its curse throughout the early 2000s, but eventually turned things around when head coach Marvin Lewis and star quarterback Carson Palmer led the team to the playoffs in 2003, their first time since 1990.

The Cincinnati Bengals lost their chance at the 2007 playoffs when their key players were plagued by injuries. Although the team did not meet their fans’ expectations last year, the Bengals seem to boost up to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns and the rest for the AFC Central title this year. Can the Cincinnati Bengals improve the 8-8 record they ended last season? Give your team a boost this year; cheer on the Bengals live at the Paul Brown Stadium!
